The Lake Arlington Karate Academy is dedicated to equipping people for life by engaging the community through family-friendly quality martial arts instruction that leads individuals to a deeper relationship with God.
Although our curriculum is rooted in Tae Kwon-do, we do have instructions from various disciplines and styles, which leads to a wide variety of defense and fighting techniques, from a mixture of martial art traditions.
Anyone is welcome to come to any of our classes. Men, women, children 5 years of age or older, any belief, any race, any creed. We strongly encourage family members attending classes together because it contributes to the cohesiveness of the family and has been found to expedite training. If you wish to participate, you will need to come in workout attire and sign a release form.
There is no cost for participating in the classes. There is a cost for purchasing the gi (uniform) and any other equipment that may be needed. There are donation and scholarships available for the uniforms or equipment if needed. We do not want anyone to feel that they cannot join due to their financial or economic situations.
